Questions Nov. 28

Today in class we answered some questions for the text I Want a Wife. The questions were review/reflection questions and made of think about the true meaning behind the text and who it is directed towards.

 Today in class we had a reading assessment over a short story. The assessment was 6 questions long so I hope that I did well. The story was about someone’s love of books and how they became a writer. I think enjoying one’s hobbies and trying to find a way to get a job around them is an interesting idea.

 Today in class we were given a newsela assignment to work on. The news ELA assignment that we worked on was about climate change and how it affects the time. I think that this is a very interesting article because I have never really thought about how those two aspects of our days would react/work together. Due to climate change we will not have to add another gap into our timeframe for quite a good while.

 Today in class we were assigned a new project based on the new unit we are starting. I was assigned to do Venezuela for my project and began research.
