 Today in class we were given a new project to work on. In this project we were given three choices. To make a sideshow on what music each character would choose. What websites they would look at. Or what items they would have in their garbage bin. I chose the garbage bin because I thought it would be a lot more interesting than the other two.

 Today in class we were given extra time to complete our assignment on illuminate. This helped me a lot because I did not finish the assignment earlier on Monday. I think this assignment was pretty good as it allowed us to explore the text ourselves and express our views of what it meant. 

 Today we worked on an assignment in illuminate where we were told to chose quotes from the book The Sorrow of War. We were told to do a minimum of 5 but any more would be extra credit. I was having trouble deciding the topic of each of these quotes but found it to be an overall easy assignment.

 Today in class we were split into groups in order to keep reading the pages from the book as well as to work on key points. The paper I was given for my group was the vocabulary and I was tasked with choosing ten vocabulary words that stood out to me.

 Today in class we presented our one pagers. I felt as if my one pager was ok and I could have done better on certain aspects on the page. I think that my questions were not very good as well as the drawing on the page.

 Today we were given time in class to work on our one pager’s before we present them on Tuesday. I felt as if I could have done better with the drawing and questions on the one pager. I find it hard to make questions that are deep.

 

 Today in class we were given an assignment based off pages recently read in the book. We are supposed to make a one pager filled with information and pictures. I think that this assignment will be somewhat relaxing.

 Today in class we watched an interview with MLK. The interview talked about how his dream had turned into a nightmare. King had to deal with many final problems as well as a major change because of the war. I think this interview does a good job with showing us how some of King’s views may have changed as well as his thoughts afterwards.

Today in class we were introduced to the book a we will begin to read this week as well as the history behind Vietnam and the events that lead to the book. I think that this is a interesting topic to cover because we have already gone over it in history but now we get to see it from another perspective.
